All four podiatrists working at the CPO have radiology permits issued by the Ordre des podiatres du Québec. Thus, they can prescribe and evaluate x-rays of the foot. Fortunately, each clinic has a podiatric X-ray machine that allows the results to be obtained quickly and to avoid extra travel when a bone abnormality is suspected.

Other imaging modalities such as MRI, tomography (CT scan), ultrasound and scanography may be required for the podiatrist to make a thorough diagnosis.
